With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Michael began his Real Estate career alongside his father-in-law Ian Michael with a passion that only increased with time. Soon after, Michael purchased the business and has since established a successful, independent agency in the heart of the Bundaberg CBD, with the value of creating ‘clients for life’.
The excitement of negotiating and working for his clients is what sets Michael apart and underlies his success. One of Michael’s fundamental beliefs is consultative selling; you will find him talking to you and supporting you throughout your entire buying and selling journey. He believes consultative selling is essential to his clients because he understands that this process can at times be a stressful and emotional experience. Michael is always aiming for the best possible outcome to ensure that all parties feel happy with the outcome and through his consistent communication and processes to market a property and match a buyer; he is confident in delivering you the best possible service.
Alongside his passion for Real Estate, Michael is a cattle farmer and enjoys spending time on his Mount Perry farm. His experience in farming serves as an added bonus to our thriving, agricultural town; as he encompasses a wealth of rural knowledge which only benefits his clients along their buying and selling journey.
Michael is a long-term local who loves the Bundaberg region and is passionate about our wonderful country-to-coast town. He enjoys spending time with his family at his Moore Park Beach property and believes that Bundaberg is the best place to be for all family dynamics and lifestylers.
As Michael Dempsey’s son, Kurt was raised with the Real Estate industry playing a fundamental role in his upbringing. It is no surprise therefore, that Kurt has followed in his father’s footsteps and paved his way as a successful sales agent in the industry. Initially beginning his Real Estate career nine years ago as a receptionist, Kurt then worked as a personal assistant to Michael before venturing out on his own as an independent agent. It is Kurt’s dynamic energy, charisma and impressive negotiation skills that set him apart from his competitors, and allows him to deliver the best outcome for his clients. Kurt enjoys supporting his buyers on their journey to find their dream home and in turn he goes above and beyond to ensure that his sellers have a stress-free and straight-forward sale.
Having been born and raised in the Bundaberg region, Kurt is passionate about the area and in particular Moore Park Beach. Having grown up in the peaceful coastal community, Kurt enjoys spending as much of his free time as possible there, surfing or walking along the kilometres of white, sandy beach. Outside of work, you’ll find Kurt heavily involved in community activities and sports. He is the founder of Young Business Bundaberg, which is aimed at young business minded individuals and creates an environment for them to network and support one another. On the weekend, you may spot Kurt playing rugby league, union, or rowing.
Nearing 30 years in the Real Estate Industry and over half of that time representing sellers in the Bundaberg region with a focus on rural property; Ben has developed an extensive background in customer service which has helped him to develop fine-tuned skills for success. It is his dedication to go above and beyond for all of his clients, coupled with his enthusiasm and outgoing personality that ensures his vendors get the best value for their home and his buyers the best possible home for their money. Trustworthy and approachable, Ben is an asset to the Michaels Real Estate team.
When Ben is not working in Real Estate, he is volunteering his time at the Jeremiah House Bundaberg to assist the homeless and less fortunate members of the public. He is a proud member of the Tyrian Lodge Bundaberg and enjoys playing bocce for Across the Waves and singing in the Italian Choir. Ben loves the Bundaberg residential and rural region, he believes it is a rewarding community with lifestyle options for everyone.
Codee began her career in the Real Estate industry in 2012, working initially in sales as a personal assistant and administrator. In 2015, Codee joined the team at Michaels Real Estate and has since become an invaluable member of our team as our Senior Property Manager. It is Codee’s meticulous attention to detail and unmatched work ethic that sets her apart and allows her to deliver the highest level of service to all of her landlords, tenants and contractors.
Passionate about property and people, Tracey is a valuable asset to the Property Management team at Michaels Real Estate. Having 10 years of experience in the industry, Tracey’s expertise ranges from rental and sales administration, to office management, and even sales, before she settled into her position as a Property Manager. Tracey’s bubbly personality and contagious smile, combined with her clear and concise methods ensures she effectively engages with tenants, landlords and contractors to provide both support and outcomes.
Krysti-lee began her Real Estate career with Michaels Real Estate in 2009, and became a well known and loved Property Manager for over five years before leaving to have her second daughter. Krysti-lee returned to our team in 2019 with the same passion and motivation for Property Management. It is Krysti-lee’s attention to detail, strong communication skills, and unmatched work ethic that sets her apart.
Grace joined the Michaels Real Estate team in 2018 as our receptionist; she is the friendly face you see as you enter our office. As the daughter of Michael Dempsey, Grace has grown up in the industry and has a great understanding of everything Real Estate related. Assisting both rentals and sales, Grace is a huge asset to the team; her can-do attitude helps everyone achieve their best results.
Ella joined the Michaels Real Estate team in 2018, as part of the office administration team. Since then she has ventured into her role as the accounts manager, but can still be found supporting Grace on reception and performing sales support duties in our busy office. Ella’s strong work ethic and bubbly personality makes her a great asset to the whole team and all of our clients.
